Barbara Ruble Stark

Barbara is an oil painter of landscapes, animals, people, and Still life.  She typically begins with a detailed drawing and a value study and then alternates layers of thin and thick paint.  Classically trained at the Art Students League in NYC, she has also studied with several ateliers over the last 10 years.

Barbara received a BFA in Design with a focus on Fine Art from the University of Minnesota.  After many years of developing product for the garment industry, Barbara had her own accessory business.  Later, using her drawing and painting expertise in her capacity as a designer and under the mentorship of other painters, Barbara grew in her development as an artist.  She hopes you enjoy her vision as an artist and welcomes any questions you may have.
